Having been awarded the contract as mechanical & electrical contractor, initially a full mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and drainage installation design was carried out by our in house team of design engineers
Supply and extract AHU’s, along with Hitachi air conditioning were designed, installed and commissioned to serve the upper and lower gymnasium, which is complete with its own running track, punch bag area, free weights, sauna, spinning studio, dojo (martial arts) area, cryogenic recovery chamber and of course a UFC fighting cage in additional to the usual gymnasium workout areas.
Hitachi ‘Web Manager’ central controller was installed and integrated to allow the store manager precise temperature control of multiple gymnasium areas at the ‘touch of button’.
All sanitaryware, digital showers, extract and touch free washbasins were installed to changing and toilet facilities including VIP areas. Existing gas fired water heaters were retained, overhauled and serviced to ensure safety and efficiency for continued service.
LED lighting was installed, tested and commissioned to client precise requirements, galvanised containment and distribution equipment were specified and installed throughout to give a modern vibe in keeping with the aesthetics / overall design whilst ensuring compliance to building regulations.
Front of house reception area including automatic entry gates were installed along with coffee shop / retail area, giving a bright, welcome 1st impression to all potential gym users.
